This style of vase is created differently from the exposed coil vase. First of all, the coils are larger in circumference. Additionally, all of the coils make a full circle around the vase. The most drastic change is the fact that both the outside and inside of the pot is smoothed and the final product is a much larger piece.
My vessel starts out with a uniform radius at the bottom and has a slightly reduced radius at the top. I chose this design because it could have a few practical uses, such as a plant pot or pencil holder. Additionally, I made the size so that the vase can easily be held in one hand.
